I found this at Respectful Insolence. This guy is a germ theory denier.
The denial comes from a “Dr” Robert O. Young (who is not unknown to the skeptical comunity) and whos past claimes inclued the claim that cancer is caused by eating too much acidic food.
His latest claim is that germ theory is false and that desieses are caused by acids.

One must challenge everything in the modern construct of
immunology and what is said to be the immune system. The basis of modern immunology is founded on Louis Pasteur, the fraud, impostor, deceiver and self promoter. There is a serious problem to where every word and part of the anatomy must be questioned to find their use and function because of the fraud of Louis Pasteur.

So he starts out with a straw man of immunology and an ad hominem attack on Louis Pasteur.
First of all though Louis Pasteur played a large role in immunology and the germ theory of disease his work of not the bases of them, both immunology and the germ theory of disease are based on the work on many individuals both before and after Louis Pasteur’s work. And even if every thing he said about Louis Pasteur was not a lie, it wouldn’t matter as other scientists observations and experiments for over s century have shown him to have been right.

The gut then goes on to talk about how Bird flu is cased by or even being around Chickens cause the Chickens are too acidic cause they eat there of crap and there crap makes the air acidic.

Here is a second example of Pasteurian scientific dogma. The word virus is originally Latin meaning poison, as in snake venom, (being too acidic). When a serious snake bite releases venom or acid into the skin and soft tissues, the small sweat vessels become so enlarged that red corpuscles can flow into the tiny seat glands, showing red skin patterns and allowing the venom or acids to escape through the skin. Acidity dissolves and enlarges blood vessels for the movement of acidic fluids or gases. Alkalinity constricts and normalizes the blood vessels.

So a poison is the same as snake venom? No. Poisson’s and venoms are not the same things.

He goes on to say that viruses are poison liquids or gases that he falsely equates with venom.

So his point here is that acids can dissolve things (I don’t think all snake venoms are acidic but I could be wrong) so if you ingest acidic liquids or breath in acidic gases it will make you sick? (by that logic I should be dead cause I drink allot of soda)

Okay, some explanation is needed. An acid is substance with a pH lower than 7. Now this “Dr” advocates and alkaline diet but. An alkali is substance with a pH higher than 7. Now substances that are alkaline can be just as corrosive as acids. Bleach is alkaline as well as lye.

He goes on but gives no sources, no science to back up what he is saying so and he ends with links to places where people can buy his books and dvds so I’m going to stop here. But Orac at Respectful Insolence does a much more detailed look at the guys claims.
