I like criticism, criticism is good, criticism of my (and every one else&#039;s) opinions, ideas and beliefs is a good thing but only if its constructive criticism.
How do I think they would feel? Well, if they are looking for truth (which I don&#039;t assume to know, I go with the most plausible possibility) I think they would feel better knowing that there is a possible explanation that does not involve aliens abducting them to experiment on them or molest them. If they are one of these people have an irrational fear of being wrong, they would  be afraid that they are wrong then refuse to consider the possibility then make a comment like yours.
