Free Energy

I did a google search for “zero point energy” and  got a Wikipedia article and a bunch of free energy sites. What is “free energy”? Free energy supposed sources of energy that are very cheep to free, usually an over unity device (perpetual motion machine).
The problem with these ”free energy devises” is the first Law of Conservation of Energy which states that energy can change from one form to another but can not be created or destroyed. So you can never get more energy out of something than was put in to it. So it is imposable to have an over unity device.

Since this came up from me googleing zero point energy, I’ll talk about that for moment.
Zero-point energy is the lowest possible energy that a quantum mechanical physical system may possess and is the energy of the ground state of the system. (from Wikipedea) So its not some magic thing that makes energy out of nothing, it doesn’t magically appear. The free energy freaks seem to think that cause of zero point energy if you take all the matter and energy away from an area, more will magically appear, then you take that away and more will magically appear again. Hypothetically, even if it did work that way, how much energy could you get out of it? Its the lowest possible energy. You would need a huge area to get any meaningful amount of energy out of it. And you would still need to put energy into the system to take everything away from the area.

Of course science could be wrong. But if it is and free energy was posable and with in our technological capability and it was efficient enough to give us the amount of energy they claim, wouldn’t such things be common by now? And hats the last nail in the coffin for free energy. But the free energy freaks have explanation for this, the explanation all those people who believe things that have been proven wrong go to. Its a conspiracy! They say its a conspiracy, that the gas company’s own the government and the media and they are suppressing the technology. And what is the evidence of this vast conspiracy? Well like any conspiracy theory, any evidence against free energy is evidence for the conspiracy.
